Rogue Family Law Transitions to Fully Remote Law Practice Serving Oregon Residents
January 1, 2022 – Portland, Oregon –
Rogue Family Law is proud to announce that starting in 2022, we have transitioned our services from traditional, in-person representation in Court to a fully remote and education-based offering so we can better serve the needs of individuals and families in Oregon.
We are transitioning because we believe that family law no longer serves the majority of Oregonians. According to recent studies, around 80 percent of Oregon families represent themselves in their family law cases – either one or both sides don’t have a lawyer. In some counties, estimates are as high as 90%.
Families represent themselves because they can’t afford a lawyer to go court for them or are afraid to hire lawyers trained to “fight” cases instead of solve problems. Rogue Family Law was created so families can get the help they need to solve their family law challenges in ways which produce better outcomes for everyone.
Rogue Family Law offers four types of services: the Legal Orientation and the Family Law Workshops; the Rogue Family Law Document Portal, Case Management Coaching Sessions and Document Review, and Collaborative Family Law Services. The Workshops are focused trainings on individual family law topics such as parenting time and custody, financial support, property division, and wrapping up a case. The Document Portal allows Oregonians to prepare their family law documents using an easy-to-use portal that automatically populates necessary forms without guesswork. All services are pay-as-you-go, with costs known ahead of time.
We believe that through these services, more Oregon families will gain access to affordable legal help without retainers, deposits, or income requirements.
